After going to the Queen Victoria Building and visiting several stores, I would recommend going to the Asics store because it is a brand specialized in high-quality sports shoes and clothing, known especially for its innovative technologies in running shoes. In addition, they offer a wide variety of products for other sports such as tennis, paddle tennis, or trail running, as well as technical clothing and accessories.

At Asics you can buy shoes designed for different types of strides, highly breathable and high-performance sports clothing, and accessories that complement your physical activity. Here is a link to take a closer look at the store. https://www.qvb.com.au/stores/asics

Commonwealth of Nations

A member country of the Commonwealth is India, a country rich in history, culture, and diversity. India became a member of the Commonwealth in 1947, the same year it gained independence from British colonial rule. India is unique among Commonwealth members as it is a republic; unlike most Commonwealth countries, it doesn't recognize the British monarch as head of state. The Commonwealth ties are instead based on shared values such as democracy and development.

One of the most significant events in which India takes part is the Commonwealth Games, a multinational, multi sport event similar to the Olympics but specifically for member states. India has performed notably well in sports like field hockey, badminton, and shooting, often dominating the medal tables in these categories.

Art gallery of New South Wales

René Magritte's The False Mirror is one of the most interesting works in the Art Gallery of New South Wales (NSW) for its unique visual impact. The painting shows a huge eye, but instead of having a normal pupil, it has a sky full of clouds. This creates a contrast.
I would highlight the use of surrealism to mix the familiar (the eye) with the unexpected (the sky), which creates a feeling of mystery and reflection on how we see the world around us. It stands out for being an image that mixes the real and the strange in a very creative way.

The Art Gallery of New South Wales (NSW) stands out for its wide variety of works, ranging from classical pieces to modern art. Most interesting is its collection of Australian art, especially indigenous art, which showcases the country's rich culture. They also have

Hyde Park Sydney Thinking Routine

In the picture, you can see a large outdoor chessboard with oversized black and white pieces in the middle of a beautiful park. The area is surrounded by trees, benches, and green spaces, creating a calm and inviting atmosphere. Several people are present in the scene; some are actively engaged in playing a game of chess, while others appear to be watching the match or simply relaxing on the benches nearby. It looks like a perfect place to unwind and enjoy outdoor activities. It’s likely that these people gather in this spot regularly, especially on weekends or during their free time, as parks are often popular places for social and recreational activities.

Parks like this offer a wide variety of things to do. You can go for a walk, jog, or cycle along the paths, have a picnic with friends or family, play games like chess, practice sports, read a book, or simply take in the beauty of nature. Parks are spaces that cater to people of all ages, providing opportunities to relax, socialize, or stay active. In my city, there are some similar places like Doña Casilda park where you can enjoy the ducks in the lake, although giant chess boards are not very common.

When I go out for a walk with friends or my dog, we usually choose local parks or other outdoor spots where we can enjoy the fresh air and spend quality time together. I really enjoy going to parks because they are peaceful and refreshing places that allow me to disconnect from the busyness of everyday life. I love spending time outdoors, whether it’s to relax or to engage in an activity. Sometimes, I even play sports in parks, like football, frisbee, depending on the facilities available. Parks are truly wonderful places that bring people together and create opportunities for recreation and connection

Darling Harbour

Darling Harbour in Sydney offers a diverse range of activities suitable for all ages. Visitors can explore attractions such as the SEA LIFE Sydney Aquarium, WILD LIFE Sydney Zoo, and the Australian National Maritime Museum. The area also features the Chinese Garden of Friendship, the Darling Harbour Children’s Playground, and various dining and shopping options.

Among these, the most exciting activity is visiting the SEA LIFE Sydney Aquarium. This attraction provides an immersive experience into Australia’s marine life, featuring exhibits like the Great Barrier Reef, Shark Valley, and a South Coast Shipwreck. Visitors can observe a variety of sea creatures, including tropical fish, jellyfish, and seahorses, and even participate in experiences like swimming with sharks.

Personally, the Chinese Garden of Friendship stands out as a favorite. This tranquil oasis offers a peaceful retreat from the bustling city, with its pavilions, lakes, waterfalls, and a traditional teahouse. It’s an ideal spot to relax and appreciate nature’s beauty.

The Rocks Markets operate exclusively on weekends, specifically every Saturday and Sunday from 10 am to 5 pm. They are not open on weekdays.

To reach The Rocks by bus, you can disembark at stops along Alfred Street near Circular Quay or on Elizabeth Street at Bridge Street. From these stops, head north towards The Rocks. Accessible buses are marked with a wheelchair symbol and feature lower floors, wide doors, and aisles.

One shop that stands out is the Harrington St Deli, located in the heart of The Rocks at the Harbour Rocks Hotel. This deli offers a delightful fusion of American deli culture with Italian-inspired flavors, making it an appealing destination for those seeking a unique culinary experience.

Royal Botanic Garden

At the Royal Botanic Garden Sydney, dedicating a bench involves a donation, but the specific amount isn’t listed on their website.
Becoming a member of the Foundation & Friends of the Botanic Gardens entitles you to receive The Gardens Magazine quarterly, providing seasonal updates from the Gardens.
One remarkable plant featured at the Royal Botanic Garden Sydney is the Wollemi Pine (Wollemia nobilis). Thought to be extinct until its discovery in 1994 by ranger David Noble in a gorge in Wollemi National Park, in the Blue Mountains region of Australia. Also Wollemi pines live a very long time; Some of the oldest living trees in existence today are believed to be between 500 and 1,000 years old. This ancient tree dates back to the time of the dinosaurs, making it a living fossil. Its unique evolutionary history and rarity make it a significant highlight of the Garden’s collection.

Sydney tower

On the official Sydney Tower Eye website, I found the “What’s On” section very interesting because it shows special events and activities that can be enjoyed at the tower. This section is useful because it not only tells you about the tower and its views, but also helps visitors choose the best time to go. For example, they talk about the “Twilight SKYWALK”, a unique experience where people can walk on a glass platform and see the city at dusk, when the sky changes color and the city lights begin to shine. Additionally, they mention special celebrations like Diwali and New Year. During these events, the tower offers different experiences, such as special lighting or themed activities. This makes each visit unique and different depending on the date you go. I really like this section because it allows you to discover special events and plan your visit to make the most of the experience. Instead of just going up to see the views, you can participate in exclusive activities and enjoy a special time at the tower.
